More medal success for Torbay Taekwon-Do

Torbay Taekwon-Do continued it’s winning ways with great medal success at the recent UKTA Welsh Open Championships. The tournament at the University of Cardiff saw 292 competitors from 58 schools throughout the UK competing in sparring, patterns, special technique and power events.

Torbay came 8th overall with an impressive haul of 6 gold medals, 3 silver and 3 bronze – all from a team of just 10 students. Instructor Mr Steve Millis VI Dan said “I’m very pleased with our performances at competitions this year, and really looking forward to taking an even bigger team to the UK National Championships in Guildford in November.
