Fourth out of Eighty Two Schools Seven students from the UKTA South Devon Taekwon-Do School have just returned triumphant after a long day competing in the 2011 UKTA English Taekwon-Do Championships, staged at the Spectrum Sport Complex.in Guildford. The students who train in Newton and Torbay all put in a spectacular performance battling against students from all over the UK winning a total of 12 medals in patterns, sparring, breaking and special technique. The school finished fourth out of the eighty two schools that attended. Special congratulations go to the gold medal winners Lorna Wright, Rachael Smith, Thomas Bridge and Hannah Millis, who are all now crowned as 2011 English Champions. Coach and 5th Dan Instructor Steve Millis was very pleased with the students and hopes that their success will inspire some of the other up and coming students in the school.
