6th Kup - Grading Questions
In addition to the Theory learnt for previous grading's you should be able to answer the following.

General
1. Name the all of the patterns you have learnt and how many moves in each?
2. Who was Won Hyo?
3. What does the colour 'green' signify in Taekwon-Do?
4. Name the six factors involved in producing power.

Technical
1. Name and show all the stances you know?
2. Name and point to all the hand parts you know?
3. Name and point to all the foot parts you know?
4. Demonstrate Yopcha jirugi (Side Piercing Kick) and name the part of the foot you use. (Juniors use pad, Seniors us breaking boards)
5. Demonstrate Dollyo Chagi (Turning Kick) and name the part of the foot you use. (Juniors use pad, Seniors us breaking boards)
6. Demonstrate Bandae Dollyo Chagi (Reverse Turning Kick) and name the part of the foot you use. (Juniors use pad, Seniors us breaking boards) 6th Kup - Grading Answers

General
1. At 6th Kup you know four patterns. Chon-Ji (19 Moves), Dan-gun (21 Moves), Do-san (24 Moves) and Won Hyo (28 Moves)
2. Won-Hyo was the noted monk who introduced Buddhism to the Silla Dynasty in the year of 686 A.D.
3. Green signifies the plants growth as your training in Tae Kwon Do begins to develop.
4. The six factors of producing power are : Concentration Reaction force Equilibrium (Balance) Mass Breath Control Speed

Technical
1. You should be able to show eight stances
Moa sogi A (Close stance A)
Gunnun sogi (Walking stance)
Charyot sogi (Attention stance)
Niunja sogi (L stance)
Narani sogi (Parallel stance)
Gojung sogi (Fixed stance)
Annun sogi (Sitting stance)
Goburyo sogi A (Bending stance A)
2. You should know a minimum of 6 hand parts

3. You should know a minimum of 4 foot parts

4. Balkal – Foot sword (Be able to demonstrate side kick)
5. Ap Kumchi – Front sole (Be able to demonstrate turning kick stood at a 45º angle)
6. Dwitchook – Heel (Be able to demonstrate reverse turning kick stood at a 45º angle)

Note:students aged over 13 and over are required to know the Korean terminology
